Threads of lurex add sparkle to this delicate hand loomed cotton scarf. Functional and decorative it can also double as a table runner! Most of the scarves measure approx. 18” x 60” with tassles at both ends.
Since each one is hand loomed and hand dyed by women with available vegetable dyes, no two are alike. We can *try* to match color preferences if you make a request below or e-mail us specifically. This has been one of our best selling products since 2007.
Your support gives these women of Nepal fair compensation and preserves traditional apparel-making methods. Each month, Avatar contributes a portion of the proceeds to an orphanage outside of Kathmandu. The money has been used to buy cooking utensils and food for the children of the orphanage.
